Award-winning comedian, writer and actor Lord Christian Blighty (The Mr Darcy of the Internet’) has produced an entertaining video about Pheasant shooting.
This is the perfect antidote to the current hysteria from the gamebird shooting industry about how the ‘countryside is under attack’.
As Christian says, it is under attack, but not in the way the shooters would have you believe!
At the end of the video, viewers are urged to submit evidence to Defra’s Call for Evidence on gamebird shooting. Christian says the Call for Evidence closes on 6th November – it actually closes at one minute to midnight on Sunday 1st November (that’s this coming Sunday).
If you haven’t yet submitted your evidence, hopefully you’ll take inspiration from Christian’s video and you can also find some guidance on Wild Justice’s website, here.
