UPDATE: Gonshaw’s ASBO still stands. Apparently he failed to turn up and costs were made against him.

For Matthew Gonshaw to actually be barred from entering Scotland, during the breeding season, is a dreadful infringement!
We demand that he never be allowed to set foot in Scotland … EVER AGAIN!
It’s a pity the Raptor poisoners, trappers and shooters aren’t banned from entering Scotland at all.
How is it that a mere egger, (yes I know he’s committing wildlife crime) can be fined, jailed and banned from a country whilst the rest of the Raptor persecutors get off “SCOT” free ???
Another thing that is noticeable is the the egg nuts don’t get represented in court by QC’s, but raptor persecutors often are and we know who the people are who finance that and it is not gamekeepers.
Maybe, just maybe, some more assertive action is required for this guy and perhaps one day he’ll bump into it. I can’t help but feel that he would be all the better for the devil of a thrashing.
