Raptor Persecution UK 
What a scandlous suggestion, do the shooting fraternity not kill enough of our wildlife at the moment illegally and legally.
Any move in the direction proposed by DEFRA will make gamekeepers etc think they now have free licence to treat any Raptor however they feel fit. Or should I say, those gamekeepers and those who support them who don’t already think that.
Should the petition not be on the parliament website?
I drive a large truck for a living and must kill more Pheasants than any Buzzard. Does this mean that I might be “managed” by Defra. I signed the petition yesterday, and urge more people do likewise.
I’m pleased to see people are starting to take note of this disgusting plan to manage Buzzards,What next,Red Kites,
Peregrines? All of these Raptors are increasing in number and once again they will be hounded to extinction by the hunting, fishing, shooting brigade, What response wil there be from MP’s when so many of them come from that background.

Buzzards have had a difficult enough time in past history. This is just the thin end of the wedge as far as the game fraternity are concerned. It will be HenHarriers and Peregrines on grouse moors next.
