The newly-formed Revive Coalition for grouse moor reform will be launched tomorrow evening in Edinburgh.
As a build up to the event, two coalition members have published opinion pieces today on why grouse moor reform is needed:
Robbie Marsland, Director of the League Against Cruel Sports Scotland has a guest blog on Mark Avery’s blog here
Bob Elliot, Director of animal welfare charity OneKind has an opinion piece in The Herald here
We’ll be blogging about the launch later this week….
I wish Revive well.
The small voice it has will be drowned out by the concerted voices of the media fully prepared to see the present disgraceful situation continue, I believe.
The Cairngorms Connect project will provide a haven where wildlife could thrive, but, surrounded as it is by a sink of criminal enterprise, it will make little difference in the short term. It is just as well it has a 200 year vision. It will need much of that time.
SGA going on the offensive before it is even launched!

All the best to Revive lets hope it can help changes things for the better.
