Criminal proceedings continued at Elgin Sheriff Court yesterday against Scottish gamekeeper Stanley Gordon.
Mr Gordon, 60, of Cabrach, Moray, is facing charges in connection with the alleged shooting of a hen harrier in June 2013.
The case continued without plea and the next hearing will be 11 August 2016.

I was visiting the Northern Isles recently and was delighted at the number of hen harriers I saw. The moral is No gamekeepers = healthy hen harrier population. Gamekeepers please stay away.
So the continual continuing has continued continuously has it? I’ve used that joke before, I need new material.
Ok, I give up! Just what exactly is happening? Why does it take all these hearings to decide whether the man has shot a Hen Harrier three years ago, or not? When does time run out for reaching a verdict?
