Hmm, Snilesworth, that rings a bell.
A long time ago, there was some trouble at Snilesworth.
It’s been described as a ‘fantastic moor‘ and if Mr Osborne is still involved it should be amazing for hen harriers because apparently he wants to see more of them ‘on or near grouse moors’.
Henry headed up to the moor expecting a warm welcome from the gamekeepers and a bevy of potential mates who might be impressed with his skydancing moves….
Raptor Persecution UK 
Sorry to say this about an important subject: the persecution of raptors in Scotland and in particular the persecution of hen harrier, but this duplication of Henry’s tour from Mark Avery’s blog is getting really quite boring. I go to the respective sites for different messages; RPS for forensic examination of incidents and the politics of them, and MA’s Blog for broader bird, environment and politics.
Both sites I think are brilliant and both do a brilliant, but different job to my mind.
So have a think about this current reporting on Henry’s tour and maybe discuss it with Mark then decide how to manage it. Please.
I also read both blogs, unlike presumably many people who visit only this site. The 2 blogs are not carbon copies, and I like the sometimes different emphasis. Discuss it by all means, but you won’t bore me.
